~Tea for One ~

Tea for two is always special

From: Southern Lady Gracious Tables by Phyllis Hoffman

Tea for three or four is a party

From: Southern Lady Gracious Tables by Phyllis Hoffman

but why not treat yourself as nice
as a favored guest?

I pulled out my sweet little teapot for one and
 matching cup and saucer

Look at this cute little guy with his hands on his hips..

A couple of my favorite cookies on the side

(A COUPLE? ........who the heck am I kidding?)

these two little cookies just look too forlorn....better invite some company

Don't forget the pretty linens.
I'm always a sucker for anything monogrammed.
Even if it's not my initials.

and Voila' it's a party for one.

Sip slowly and enjoy

I take a moment to sit back and dream

and what am I dreaming about, you ask?

why SPRING of course.

  3. Hi Terri, I am a huge fan of tea, the whole thing! Brewing, steeping, pouring....it is so civilized! The whole exercise makes us slow down and enjoy! N.xo

    1. I agree, Nella....I love the whole process. Especially because it causes one to take a moment and pause. We need to have more quiet moments in our day, anytime we get a chance....grab it! :)

  5. This is wonderful! Gorgeous tea set (hmmm...that one pot looks familiar!) and a great idea. Just one problem...

    I WASN'T INVITED.

We need to have our movie day sometime at my house!

  6. What a pretty setting!
    Love milano cookies too.
What kind of red tea is that?
I am addicted to the Teavana Youthberry and Citrus blends when they are put together.
    Have you had this?
    omg. You must try!

I might have to post on that!

    1. It's Ginger Peach from 'The Republic of Tea'. It does come out rather red....which I think is so pretty.
I will have to try your suggestion for Teavana...sounds great.
