That's what a grandson's visit is all about.
Where granddaughters have tea parties
grandsons have .....battles .....
with unknown villains and monsters
that must be destroyed.

for he's not just a little boy,
he not just a grandson
He is a submarine captain
A great builder of skyscraper cities
A fearless explorer of under sea worlds
An apprentice learning at the master's knee
A scientist
A paleontologist
An Olympic diver
Whew!!!!!
I'm exhausted just hearing about it.
But when he drags his tired feet home after a long day of slaying dragons,
he just wants to curl up for a good bedtime story.

He is rambunctious and inquisitive,
and a deep thinker too.
But I am grateful , that through all the noise of his busy days
he still has room for a cuddle .....or two.
He is adorable...reminds me of my nephews when they were little...their imaginations and energy is boundless. Hope you are having a great summer.

Awwww...He is just the cutest little boy, and so CHARMING, not to mention he looks just like grandma!
